Ann Arbor
[edit]This issue requires discussion. I am against including Ann Arbor as a potential bidder. This is the source: http://annarbor2018.blogspot.com/
This is a blog anyone could have made. It does not look official and its not really like a press release. --MusicGeek101 (talk) 03:29, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
Fair enough, if the bid gets a proper website I'll include it.-matt779977 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matt779977 (talk • contribs) 18:10, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
There are three websites that deal with the olympic-bid processes. If anything develops, one of those sites should have info. If that happens I will link an article. --MusicGeek101 (talk) 22:46, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
Medellín bid
[edit]Are there any other sources than the one available that shows that Medellín has made a bid? --MusicGeek101 (talk) 19:19, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add any bids to the list w/o Citation or Sources.
[edit]They could be seen as advertising or could have been done for Satirical purposes. 112.210.190.89 (talk) 12:08, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Please provide citation or confirmation from the National Olympic Committees or Government of the country before adding any bids. They could be seen as advertising or could be seen as a way to promote or gain support for the unsupported bid. 112.210.150.244 (talk) 00:29, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Glasgow
[edit]- This bid is not validated yet by the British Olympic Association. Please put only in the first section the bids which have been officially confirmed by the country's NOC. Hektor (talk) 06:55, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
Monterrey
[edit]- Again, no source is provided showing that the Mexican NOC (Comité Olímpico Mexicano) has endorsed the bid. Hektor (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Unsourced information
[edit]I haven't been able to find any evidence in the sources provided that Medellin and Monterrey are backed by their respective NOC. Besides, a lot of information in sourced to a blog, Insidethegames. As far as I know blogs are not recognized as reliable sources. Hektor (talk) 08:04, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
XXIII Olympic Winter Games?
[edit]In all the articles on each respective bid it says "XXIII Olympic Winter Games" on the top of each infobox in the upper right hand corner. I can't find how to change this. Can someone fix this error? --MusicGeek101 (talk) 19:51, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Mauritania
[edit]I cannot find in any of the sub articles where it says Mauritania has qualified. Am I missing something? Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 00:15, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

Dancesport pic
[edit]The pictogram is wrong for dancesport, it should have a breaking pictogram similar to File:Dancesport 2018 YOG.png. --Pelmeen10 (talk) 13:54, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
